On the 7th of May, 1965, a vessel from the Bradley Fleet and a Norwegian Freighter collided in the Straits of Mackinac. The Great Lakes ore freighter began to take on water at a rapid rate. But inexplicably, the ship turned in the wrong direction and sank 3 miles to shore, after being hit just 1 mile from shore. Here is the strange story.
