How to EASILY Beat Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King in Genshin Impact - Free to Play Friendly! #hoyocreators #genshinguide #genshinboss #hoyoverse

The Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King is a World Boss introduced with the release of Genshin Impact's 5.0 update alongside the release of the Natlan region.

The Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King is an incredibly simple fight. It is so simple in fact, that it essentially only has 2 attacks so long as you interact with its mechanics properly. This mechanic is that it requires you to use a Pyro unit to attack fruits on the ground that it shakes out of its mane. Attacking these fruits using Pyro elemental attacks will cause the fruits to explode and thus deal damage to the boss. Detonating 3 fruits will give you a small window for uninterrupted DPS as its only down phase. Aside from that, the Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King will only do two moves: A double belly pat into a linear spin, and a grapple ground pound. Both of these moves can be easily avoided by simply walking or dashing away from them.

If on the off-chance that you allow the boss to consume fruits, it will perform a powered up attack. This attack is in the form of 2 Burning Acid projectiles that travel rather fast, and then finally ending with a massive laser beam attack. All of these moves leave burning ground on the floor for a short duration afterwards. NOTE: In Abyss, it is possible for the boss to use these powered up moves without eating the fruit as its opening attack rather than the normal Acid Spits it deals.
