The Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant is a World Boss released alongside Genshin Impact's 5.0 update as part of the release of the new Natlan region.
The Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant is an incredibly simple boss. It can be AI manipulated into doing just two moves in its normal state by standing directly in front of it, and both of those two moves can be dashed through. The two moves in question are a side swipe that follows up into a slam, and then just a regular slam on its own. Aside from that, the boss has a unique mechanic where it goes into a different form.
In this form, it has HP in form of a Pyro Shield. This is why you need a ranged Hydro unit, and this boss will not be able to be hit with melee attacks during this state. While the boss is in this Golden Flame state, all you need to do to dodge most of its attacks is stand directly underneath it while it is unleashing its two fire missile barrages, and then simply dodge out of the way of the Pylon when it is coming down. Hitting the pylon allows the Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant to descend, putting catalyst users in range to hit it with normal attacks.
