While consumer / prosumer cameras have gotten vastly better over the years, unless you are shooting on film or an ultra high-end camera like a RED, etc that shoots in 4:4:4 color -- you might have a hard time getting a good green or blue screen footage key.
Thankfully...there is a lot we can learn from the [vastly rougher] footage from the past, and with some preparation and thought, you can get decent quality keys from a smartphone, dslr, compressed footage -- practically anything!
