In this video, Christian Carranza and I give you 8 tips on how to start making money as a videographer. We cover videography basics, business, how to start your portfolio, and how to find your first clients. Also a little bonus Mavic 2 Pro footage / Sony A7iii night time edit I shot while I was up in San Francisco.

8:44 Tip 5 improve on weakpoints because they can bottleneck the quality of your work (e.g. coloring, editing, filming / composition, sound design, etc)
11:08 Tip 6 don't undervalue your work or undercharge
14:05 Tip 7 using social media (and your network) to find your first few clients
17:00 Tip 8 build your network, make sure everyone knows you're the video guy / gal
20:00 Tip 9 (Bonus) build your people/personal skills, this will help you with client retention, sales, business in general
