5th Grade Homeschool Curriculum Picks 2024-2025

Here's our 5th grade homeschool curriculum for the 2024-2025 school year. We'll be mostly following the Ambleside Online book list for our science, history, geography. literature, and language arts.

Math: We'll be changing our math this year from Singapore Math Primary 2022 to Math Mammoth!

Language arts: Copywork, weekly dictation from All About Spelling level 3, one weekly written narration per week and daily oral narrations from scheduled AO books. (We won't narrate literature reads this year per Simply Charlotte Mason's recommendations to lighten the narration load). Also planning to do some creative writing throughout the year, of some kind.

Family style: Daily poetry, bible story, and hymn. Weekly folksong, nature study, and once in a while Shakespeare (forgot to mention in video).
