In this video I use my own art done over the last year as an example of how to think about self critique and giving yourself things to focus on in the coming year/time period.
I discuss the benefits of being able to direct your own art journey. There are also a lot of benefits to getting advice from others, and I think all methods of getting feedback are valuable, this talk focuses on figuring things out for yourself.
It follows on from a previous video I did which talked about goal setting:
You can find that one here: • Have You Made Your Art Goals?? - Get ...
In that video I outlined a simple plan for setting goals and refocusing your art game. To be used if you feel a little bit lost or deflated. Or as a new year resolution style boost.
In this video I follow a similar process, using my own work as an example. Basically doing what I suggested... so you can hopefully learn from my examples and specific situation.
Your journey and your goals will be totally different. But I think a lot of the process is universal.
Happy Drawing!
